LED Lighting Facts:

Environmentally Friendly

A single kilowatt-hour of electricity will generate 1.34 pounds (610 g) of CO2 emissions. Assuming the average light bulb is on for 10 hours a day, a single 40-watt incandescent bulb will generate 196 pounds (89 kg) of CO2 every year. A building’s carbon footprint from lighting can be reduced by 68% by exchanging all incandescent bulbs for new LEDs in warm climates. (In cold climates, the energy saving may be lower, since more heating would be needed to compensate for the lower temperature.)

Non-Toxic

LEDs do not contain mercury, unlike fluorescent lamps.

Efficient

LEDs produce more light per watt than incandescent bulbs. Their efficiency is not affected by shape and size, unlike Fluorescent light bulbs or tubes.

Cool Light

In contrast to most light sources, LEDs radiate very little heat in the form of IR (infrared) that can cause damage to sensitive objects or fabrics.

Long Life

LEDs can have a relatively long useful life. One report estimates 35,000 to 50,000 hours of useful life, though time to complete failure may be longer. Fluorescent tubes typically are rated at about 10,000 to 15,000 hours, depending partly on the conditions of use, and incandescent light bulbs at 1,000 to 2,000 hours.

LED LIGHTING
— Saves You Time & Money!

LED (Light Emitting Diodes) tube and bulb lighting can make a positive impact on your business. There is no doubting the significance of a product that allows existing fluorescent fixtures to be converted to LED by simply changing the bulb/tube. The worlds first true replacement of glass fluorescent lighting matches the equivalent light output of the tube it replaces.

In addition to the energy savings, the benefits of LED lighting technology include a 10-YEAR service life, high quality light and cold temperature operation. Made of recyclable materials, The LED light does not contain mercury or lead. It is the only product that facilitates a light conversion without replacing the existing fixture.

The United States disposes of 600 million fluorescent tubes each year and many of these are not disposed of properly, which can expose people to toxic and hazardous materials. Now anyone can convert their fluorescent system to LED and realize the benefits of clean, safe and high quality light. What can be better than a safe product that lasts 26 times longer and can save up to 80% of lighting energy costs?!

Now is the time to make the transition to LED!
